Launch Checklist

Congratulations on getting your app ready for production! Here are the steps you need to take to ensure a smooth launch:

1. Create a developer account with a group mailing address

Make sure that the developer account on the MetaKeep Console is using a shared team email to avoid billing and alert emails being sent to a single person.

2. Refresh the API keys

Login to your developer account and refresh the API keys. Generate a new set of API keys for the app and delete the old ones used during development.

If your app does not make any backend API calls to MetaKeep, delete all API keys.

3. Add API signatures (Optional but recommended)

We recommend enabling API signatures on your Production API keys for an added layer of security. Follow the steps here to enable signatures on your API keys.

4. Customize the user wallet

You have the option to customize the look and feel of the MetaKeep user wallet to match your brand. Follow the wallet customization guide to get started.

5. Whitelist origins

Add a list of origins that is allowed to access the user wallet and your app-id.

6. Contact us for capacity planning (if expecting high traffic)

If you're expecting a large amount of traffic and transactions on your launch, get in touch with us for capacity planning. Please give us at least 2 weeks of notice before your launch date.
